About Us
Sewly Yours & Once Upon A Bride is a lifelong dream come true for owner Debbie LaFromboise. A talented dressmaker and passionate designer, Debbie developed her obsession with needlework at a very young age at the feet of her grandmother and great-grandmother.
Visitors are always welcome in the salon. Slip off your shoes, don a pair of white gloves and pass through the wrought iron arbor into a world dedicated entirely to brides and their families. Victorian furnishings and architecture are the setting for the unique collections found within.
Adorning the walls and gracing the antique tables are portraits of brides, 19th century to present. The cupboards are filled with gowns created from the finest silks and laces. From classic, elegant, and graceful, to Swarovski crystal embellished gowns, the choices of are endless.
For the bride interested in a completely unique choice, a one of a kind custom gown or an original vintage gown is an option. Our salon library contains albums with photos of gowns created or restored by Debbie. The designing, customizing and construction of the gowns occurs right in the salon. Debbie's workroom is an integral part of the environment, surrounded by works in progress, baskets of flowers for adornment, and beads for embellishment.

All of my love and appreciation to the brides and their families who have let us be part of their weddings and all my best wishes to future brides.
